Kapa Haka in KawaKawa
On Friday we went to KawaKawa School to represent our Kapa Haka group and our Teachers and Principal. We went to KawaKawa School to do Kapa Haka and to do the bracket that we've been learning for two weeks. When we got there I was embarrassed to go up on stage to do the bracket because of this thing on my head. When Matua Pep asked me to go up I didn’t want to. Then he said do it for our Kapa Haka group because you've been practising and practising for this moment. I said ok took my jumper off then done Kapa Haka. After going up I had the Mekerest day doing Kapas and I didn’t even know I had the thing on my face anymore. That’s all thanks to Matua Pep Wheae Roni and Wheae Lisha. I liked KawaKawa boys Kapa Haka because they went harty and they done Hakas that we didn’t even know. I think I could do better next at is toughening up and going up even though I have embarrassed things on my head. I liked doing Kapa Haka because we had a mean as feed after it. What I didn’t like was when I went in the door sat down and people looked at me and laughed. I think I could do better is keeping in time with my Kapa Haka group.
