Cross Country

last Friday we did cross country in Bledisloe Domain. I was nervous the whole time before my race, When it got to my race I was nervous more then I have ever been. Then Miss Hadwin said go I ran and I was just behind the fastest people in our school. I ran and I was 3rd place, we ran up the hill and around the track. when we where on the hill and all the teachers where cheering me on. I was not nervous when I got down the hill. When I got back onto the track all I heard was people cheering me on, so I started running faster. I got to the last stretch and I sprinted to the end and when I finished I was so proud of myself because I came first out of my age group and 3rd out of the 11,12 and 13 year old's. When I finished I wen't to my car and started pigging out on my kai and then went home feeling like a star.
